I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a couple of new Sub-ACs in the space marine section, namely Argol who will be taking on the role of Sub-AC for the Scions of Iron, and Jimmyzimms has stepped forward to shepherd the Apocrypha of Skaros list I'm sure they can count on the support of everyone, and will continue to be supportive and active members of the development team here cheers fellas! |

Thanks for having me. The SoI is a bit of a special case since it's a pure fan list. There is a clear theme set by Hena with focus on mechanized formations and a lot of armoured support, which I think is interesting and sets them apart from other SM chapters. At the moment I think the list is on the lower end of the power scale and I'm hoping to make some points adjustments and other changes to give them more interesting options. There are a lot of changes proposed to SM in general and I want to test those changes in the SoI context and eventually post a suggestion for a Scions of Iron 2.0 list. |

I think that's a really good approach! Historical note: Remember that this list is also the first list that was created outside of GW but blessed by GW (part of a contest in Fanatic iirc). So while the SoI chapter is fan made, this list is actually closer to "official" than anything else made by NetEA
