Post subject:  Salamanders iconography?

I'd like something clearing up regarding Salamanders iconography. Specifically the right shoulder pad design. Some sources show standard codex arrows/crosses etc. others show specific flame designs, noted as specialists. So how do they mark their troops? Is their a good source I can get online?

Maybe, but it'll change when GW decides it changes. There's all sorts of stuff like this down the years.

No one really double checks what everyone else is writing/doing at that level.

I painted tactical symbols on them. Orange-yellow on black for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Company and black on orange-yellow for 5th and 6th Company.
