Two new model sets coming out. Centurions: ![]() "Stalker" AA tank ![]() Apparently the Stalker can also be built as a Hunter AA tank (we know that one). IMO the Stalker might be a bit of a call-back to NetEA, as we had an AA tank named the Stalker in some of the Chaos lists for a while, intended to be a multi-barreled pre-heresy AA tank based on a Rhino hull. Oh and I think the Centurions look poor. :-) |

Yeah, has been a no brainer to introduce the Hunter in 40k since the dawn of flyers! The Centurions on the other hand... Attachment:

those centurions are just... unspeakably awful in every way, I particularly like the large groin-shield and largely immobile-looking legs.... laughable models, utterly laughable, pants on head fugly how long before someone stats them up for epic? ![]() |

Nice to see the Stalker, was that a Jervis invention or did it come from the Epic community? My goodness, though Centurions look terrible. What were they thinking? |

Like the Stalker Laughed my ass of upon seeing the Centurions. Centurions Quote: "One kit of three models, these can made into both Centurion Devastators or Assault Squads. Both of these variants come with more firepower than we have yet seen on any single model. They are absolutely the last thing the enemy will see.
Officially until there is an announcement, we still have to classify these as rumors. via anonymous sources on Faeit 212 Centurion Devastator Squad These guys come with guns mounted into the sides of their chest plates, not to mention that they are carrying even more guns. Under both fists, they can carry Heavy Bolters, Lascannons, or Grav-Cannons. While their chests sports an array of either Hurricane Bolters or Missile Launcher. Whoa.... that is some amazing firepower. Centurion Assault Squad These guys come with Siege Drills on each arm, with either flamer or melta attachments. While this alone would be a tremendous amount of firepower, they too come with chest mounted Hurricane Bolters or Ironclad Assault Launcher. If you were curious which models you need to shoot at first, these qualify with extreme prejudice." |

Seems to be a weak sauce attempt to make something to counter war machine /hoards players "back into the one true hobby". Because if we make something like that we'll just buy GW because there's nothing about price or game balance that anyone cares about, right? |

Something like the centurions were a given with how well the contemptor has sold for FW. I'm surprised they didn't just do a venerable version and switch it from 30k to 40k. kyussinchains wrote: those centurions are just... unspeakably awful in every way, I particularly like the large groin-shield and largely immobile-looking legs.... laughable models, utterly laughable, pants on head fugly how long before someone stats them up for epic? ![]() Jury is still out for me; almost everything GW releases in the last couple of years has looked better in RL imho. Just like the Storm talon though : TOO MANY WEAPONS !!! ![]() Looks like onslaughts OTC rigs just got a second use though ![]() Surprised not to see an imperial knight yet... though something has to be saved for the IG codex i guess. |

Another photo, at least this has helmets but they still look like ass. Glancing over the comments online 75% of people seem to dislike them, good job geedub. ![]() |
