I think I need to see this sitting next to a standard plastic land raider, I can't really see how huge it is. As for rules surely a standard LR with 4 Twin lascanons and transport 5 would be appropriate? Sure it may warrant being a small WE but that might be fiddly. It says it's fast but for a tank that size, being as fast as a Land raider is still pretty good. |

Let me know if you are serious on this as I'll be thrilled to be as involved as I can be (considering that my current marines are minotaurs). I will admit that they're a hard bunch to create a list for without it devolving into "everything and the kitchen sink" list. |

Well basically it is the Siege Assault Vanguard army list. Have to tweak it a bit to fit Spartans, Storm Eagles, Contemptors, etc... |

Since I'm collecting them for my SM army I gave it a lot of thought and wrote a proper Minotaurs list (different than the Siege Vanguard list, which I'll run them as too sometimes) around 9 months ago or so, but never got round to posting it, as I hadn't finished writing the post explaining it and the design choices. Irritatingly I may have lost access to the excel file when my portable hard drive got submerged in the flood in our sleeping area in our warehouse. I need to try and dig out my usb stick to check if it might be on there and otherwise rewrite it from scratch if not. I'll try and do it and post it soon... if I don't within a fortnight or so remind me. I'm definitely keen to look after and test the list for the Minotaurs. |

The first profile looks best, the lascannons are the default weapons and should be what is represented, rather than the Laser Destroyers. I'll definitely add the Spartan in to my Minotaurs list. I didn't have a copy on the USB in the end,so will re-write it from scratch once I bicycle the 700km or so further to Brisbane and get a chance to buy a nice new Symbian smartphone that has Microsoft Office on, to write it up on nicely. |

Also, the Spartan should be a formation upgrade and not a seperately available formation. It's fine for Tacticals, Devestator or Terminators, but should not be an upgrade available to the Scout formation, as a garrisoning Spartan overwatching the enemy to the face with 4 x 45cm AT4+ and would be abusive. Costwise 150 points? It's pretty much the equivalent of 2 Land Raiders, minus a twin heavy bolter. |
