I've updated the Blood Angels list to contain the experimental changes proposed by the army Champion.

14/12/13 EDIT - I have corrected the missing Frenzied status of the unit types that should have this ability and that do not in the Compendium listing. I have placed it here for thoroughness and those who wish to have the twin of the Compendium list.

Anything that encourages Tactical formations in any SM list is always a good thing for me.

Just checking off the list of SM units that I intend to paint up as Blood Angels with the lastest BA army list. Am I right in thinking that Predator Annhiliators and Land Raiders can only be taken as the Heavy Support upgrade? And that Predator Destructors can't be taken at all (presume replaced by Ball Predators).

I am not complaining. I am guessing that has been done for reasons of play balance to offset the Blood Angel advantages such as Death Company and Stormravens, not to mention frenzied ability. Just don't want to paint anything that I can't use in BA list, or would only use in limited numbers.

i´ve looked at the blood angel army list and just found that they cant use any type of titan, is there any reason or need for this? regular marine armies are allowed to use titans and really dont underestand why BAs cant

The Blood Angels are hiding technological secrets for their own benefit from the rest of the imperium, and so they basically refuse to fight on the same battlefields as the ad mech

also found that baal predator has ff 4+, not that it isnt enough, but now that predator destructor has 3+ seems a bit unfair

It's in their Codex... Generally to do with their better Rhino engines.

Hey Mate,

Are there supposed to be no titans in the list? I like the list, but taking on Titans without something a little bigger to take them on. I get that its a fast moving army designed to assault, so would not a Warhound only option suit the theme.

One could still use normal Space Marine rules for an army painted up like Blood Angels, right? After a year of false starts I’ve started painting up my Blood Angels, but I have too much heavy support and too few jump pack marine stands for this list. On second thought… I’m okay if I paint tactical marine stands as a Death Company squad. How much better would jump pack D.C. be though?

I’m happy to see Devastators are still in it, unlike the last EpicUK list I saw. Fluffwise (which is all I can really comment on at this point), I like it a lot!
