Here's the new version.

V2.09 changes:
“Land Raiders” Upgrade deleted.
Devastator formation increases in cost +25 points
Re-structured the Heavy Support upgrade to prevent making over-large formations.
Add the Baal Predator formation.
Re-structured Fast Attack to make it more attractive.
Reduced range and to-hit stat on Stormraven’s missile attack.
Modified “Death Company” rule, introduced “Red Thirst” rule.
Bike formation re-introduced, Blood Angels Bikers now Scouts to follow background (if not 40k rules) and more expensive so as to make them rarer.
Restructured Death Company formation sizes/prices.
New Stormraven prices.
New Land Raider Price.
Stormraven allowed on Terminator formations.
Stormraven formation added.

I have developed a deep and abiding hatred for the word Baal. Seriously. I twitch when I see it.

I take it the Stormraven formation is next time around (if it happens)?

You forgot to give Stormravens their Terminator transport capability. :)

The Assault detachment's upgrades aren't in alphabetical order (well, they're not! :P). Ditto Terminators.

Should Scouts have Stormravens? It feels a little...odd.

Otherwise looks nice (except for the bits I don't like, of course ;)).

Still not convinced about the 105cm march move with the 35cm rhino speed. That's skimmer territory. I know you dislike special rule acquisition but I think you could still opt for a +5cm rule at the end of any movement order i.e March = 30+30+30... +5cm. Engage = 30 +5cm. Advance = 30 +5cm.... BAs still move faster in this case.

Or allow Blood Angels units to countercharge an extra 5cm?

Yes, why do they have to be called "Baal" variants, there's absolutely nothing to support that; just call them Blood Angel "X" vehicles, there's already "Blood Angel Bikes".

That'd be fine by me. I'll change the names now.
Only problem is the names takes up more space on the army list page, which is why I went for "Baal" is it'd cause less bloat.

I'd rather see special rules avoided where possible, but if you were to have a special rule it could be more characterful than that:

Code:
Lucifer Engines

All vehicles with the Lucifer Engines rule may choose to travel at 5cm faster than their standard rate. However, if they chose to do this they must take a dangerous terrain test at the start of their activation.

The 35cm speed has *NOTHING* to do with skimmer, it's pure coincidence; there are plenty of Ork non-skimming units that move at 35cm to put that idea to rest. A speed of 35cm *just* means "VERY FAST!".

What about taking the test "After their first move"... at the start of the activation doesn't make any sense... they just explode when they try to use them? *laugh*

It doesn't make much difference when they take the test; there's no BM for a dangerous terrain fail so it'll only matter if the formation is very near breaking.

Note that this is not a serious suggestion, I'm very happy with the current implementation.

Depends how you use a 105cm march move though. Normally, nothing marine moves at 35cm on the ground except bikes and Land speeders. If you use them for fast objective capture then they're the only units that can do that. In a BA army just about any formation can now do that. It's a bit whiffy to me is all. That's what I meant about Skimmer territory - it's in direct relation to a marine army and "*NOTHING*" to do with orks... ;)

And a +5cm add-on still makes them "VERY FAST!" :D

Names changed to "Blood Angels xxxx" and corrected a typo in the reference sheet, version number not changed.

The Stormraven can take 2 Terminator units, which is too many...

While you're in there, the Terminator entry has a comma at the end of Stormravens, which it shouldn't.

You could give Stormravens the Fast Attack upgrade, but I think that's a "next time" consideration.

Incorrect. Read the last line of the notes.
