I know there were plastic versions of the original and I think there might have been metal versions of the 2nd version.

If anyone has any other versions I would love to get them for the website comparisons.

I have the older versions, but not sure if I will be able to upload the photo's. Will give it a go.

There are metal ones also from the epic40k era as well.  They were designated "Command" Land Raiders IIRC.  I got my hands on a bunch of them recently.

So there are these variants.

1:  Metal "Football" original Land Raider
2:  Plastic "Football" original Land Raider
3:  Epic 40k era Plastic MK III Land Raider
4:  Metal "Command" MK III Land Raider
5:  Current Metal Land Raider


Now am I not correct that the Epic40k era plastic was the first version of that hull variant of the Land Raider?  I'm pretty sure that 3e Epic came out at least a year before the 40k scale MK III Land Raider.

I wouldn't mind picking up 4 of #4.  I haven't seen any of those floating around.  Mostly #1-#3.

So did Forge World ever do Space Marine Land Raiders?  I know the have a Grey Knight one.

Forge World made a Land Raider for their Epic Thunderhawk Transport.  But it had a BIG mounting bracket in the middle. So I cut it off ... and put on a Warmaster Steam Tank Turret and a few other bitz to make it a "Looted" Ork Land Raider.    They never made any other Land Raider other then the G/K version and this one ...
