I've updated the OP with the current PDF off the NetEA Tournament pack.

Hena, can you let me know if there's any outstanding items/play test proposals/left over cruft we need to focus on with this? (prices or weapon/unit stat alignments being the first things that come to mind). AFAIK, there's none but that would be an assumption on my part. :)

Nope it all looks about in general alignment points wise. I wouldn't mind seeing the Predator formation trial the equivalent Codex trial for allowing up to 2 additional predators to be taken.

There's a play test version already published and thread discussing that you've posted in. The incoming permanent AC can choose to push that forward or not (I'm just here minding the chair until then) :) I'm just bringing that up as a interesting proposal.

Hey there.
There is an option called "Tacticals" in the TP. Not sure what it is supposed to do as it is not explained in the TP. Can someone please explain?
And I think Henas account has ALSO gone down the drain, whats the current state of this list? Is there perhaps the possibility to replace the Rhinos with Land Speeder Storms? This would fit the theme, as this is the only Marine list I can think of which can add Land Speeders to Scouts. Yes, I am aware that you could always proxy them as Rhinos.

Hrrmmm wonder if that's an error artifact from the CMS or a missing upgrade. I suspect the latter. I should be able to confirm out of the compendium as this version is in it. Yeah it appears that his account was one that was failed, nuked as well is the downtime. He's not around much so might not even be aware. If someone could poke him...

As to the list? It's approved and stable. AFAIK Hena didn't plan on any updates that I am aware of, but again, its hard to confirm with his posts being gone.

As to Storms, I could see them working here. Why don't you knock out a few batreps to try them out?

Hrmrmmmm doesn't appear to be in the compendium (which as said earlier, should be the identical version here since it's been stable for ages). It's looking like that's an error in the TP CMS. I'll point it out to Dave.

4+ 6+ 5+
Heavy Bolter 30cm AP5+
Cerberus launcher 15cm AP5+ Disrupt

Scout, Skimmer, Transport: (may carry 1 of the following units: Scout)

+25 points PER storm. I'd suggest no mixed formations initially.

What the fragg is a Cerberus Launcher? Does it shoot angry puppies? oO
25pts is pretty expensive, but solid. What about dropping the Cerberus launcher completely and convert this formation like this:

Scouts - 4 units Scouts plus transport 150pts
Upgrades: Land Speeder Storm, Land Speeder, Land Speeder Tornado, Land Speeder Typhoon, Razorback

Land Speeder - Regular one, 35pts
Land Speeder Tornado - Tornado for 35pts
Land Speeder Typhoon - upgrade up to two Land Speeders to Typhoons for 25pts
Razorback - Las or HB for 25pts
Land Speeder Storm - exchange all Rhinos with 4 Land Speeder Storm for 75pts (basically 25pts p.Storm minus 20pts for the Rhinos, rounded to a nice number)

Land Speeder Storm LV 35cm
ARM4+ CC6+ FF5+
Heavy Bolter 30cm AP5+

Scout, Skimmer, Transport: (may carry 1 of the following units: Scout)

edit: this is slightly cheaper but the speeders also loose 4 shots disrupt, which I would try to avoid as Marines dont have access to Disrupt so far.

Well if "TACTCIALS" is an error, how about adding it in? Like the Sallies, the possibility to add 2 stands tacticals with rhinos for 75/100 pts?

Well the Cerberus launcher is the main weapon on the Land Speeder storm so that's what it is ;)
Actually the details are "a tri-barreled missile launcher capable of shooting frag, stun and blind rockets". There's already Disrupt weapons in Marine lists so not an issue and even if this was the first instance, still not an issue IMO.

Dropping them in this as a test for +75 for 4 isn't a bad spot for them. Some of the worry is that we're taking an already great marine unit and making it even moar betterz. This formation with the ability to add on Land Speeders though makes sense here. Regardless, having something a bit more concrete testing-wise, regardless of list, is good for validating the unit.
