Following the storm raven into the super deformed derpy aesthetic I see. Dispite Space Marines needing an actual fighter craft, it really does look like a helicopter equivalent: ie a skimmer.

It's something I like the look of but yes, we're in skimmer country [Hunter S Thompson Impression]. I really want a SM aerospace superiority fighter in epic. Yes I understand that there's access to T'Bolts but that's nothing but a hack IMO. I'm sorry but the astartes are capable of independent action without the Imperial Navy/Guard if needed. This means that somewhere there's an aerospace fighter out there required. Thunderhawks are not that vehicle; they are a gunship, an entirely different beast.

I hated the model at first but the White Scars version in this post on warseer has softened my attitude towards it somewhat. Might just be the posing & angle TBH.

I can see it being supersonic but only in a sci-fi, suspension of disbelief, sort of way. Much like the Thunderhawk.

Either way its NOT the Fighter Craft we needed or wanted. Its a Skimmer/Helicopter thingy.
