Oooooh, mechanized Terminators for 450 points? Lovely!

Yep, although they only have 2 tanks so losing one will really hamper their mobility.

Ok that's just silly. They should still cost 175 for two. There is no point it giving them that kind of huge discount.

I've given the Terminators a 50pt discount for losing Teleport, and charged 75pts per Land Raider... I think it could be ok.

Is it intentional to be able to field formations of 8?

Yep

In the context of the scions - a ground armour based list rather than the normal marine template of air assaults.Same as warhounds are worth more to marines than IG

We shall find out; Maybe the EpicUK price is just too cheap to follow for the Blood Angels, but the only way to find out is to test.

I would definitely lose scout from the LS Storms to prevent a 8 strong scout formation which could cover the entite width of the board and need 16 BMs to break.

Regarding the overall list - what is it that makes it play like BAs? Is it more important to play like BA or to shoehorn in as many new 40k units as possible?
At present I can't see why you would take the codex list over the BA whilst a more preferable situation would be that the codex is the strongest list with the variants slightly weaker- so they still appeal to BA fans- but that is why you are useing them, because you like BA

Yep that's going.

A greater emphasis on Assault Marines (and land-based Assault Marines, instead of just being another air-assault list).

You could do both.

Especially if most of the new models already existed.

If the list is overpowered then it can be pulled back in power through a number of means.

Heh, nostalgia is fun, but living in the past is just odd. :)

I'll be running an update to the list soon reflecting the discussions in this thread, including the new Land Raider Crusader/Redeemer stats. Probably tomorrow as I don't have any spare time today.

If forced to pick I'd go with the Redeemer as it matches well with the Baal Predator.

I don't think it hurts the list to have both available though.

Unless there are big problems with both why not allow it? They seem similar but some might like (rules or modelwise) one or the other.

I would drop the Redeemer.
The standard land raider does everything it does in terms of assault transport. The Crusader though is the bees knees of assault transports.
Plus the Baal is better being faster with the same firepower. I'd go for crusaders with baals if I could instead of combining the two into the Redeemer.
And perhaps importantly the Crusader is easier to balance wiuth the standard raider, or at least not as hard as the redeemer is to balance with it (so speaketh the man who has repeatably near torn his hair out trying to use them).
