Just invent a schism in the Iron Hands in MA34. A group returned from Mars having studied with the wrong sorts of techpriests (biologists?). Renounching the hatred of flesh they prefered to compliment it with exquisit machines (read tanks) rather than replace it.

One short civil war later they in a couple of strike cruisers and a 100 or so battle brothers leave to set up base elsewhere and build up their strength. This is a slow process, what with fighting wars and all, so complimenting become relying on and now the formations are armour, not infantry based.

Chapters have at best 3-4 pages of history to cover 10,000 years. You can stick in whatever you like.

I wouldn't delve too deeply into the AdMech vs Chapter thing.

No Chapter could stand up to the will of the AdMech, they're just too small and insignificant next to the Titan Legions.


A little distrust maybe, but outright rivalry is impractical.

Hi Hena, I like the list, but why do you cost the Helios at 500. I have ben using them for 18 months at 100 points over the cost of the normal formation and have had no bad feedback from other players.

It goes roughly worth lots for first bp, less for second, less for third, lots for forth. Funny table heh?
