Sorry, I mean the basic rules. See

4.2.5 Transporting Ground Units
Landing: Aircraft with a transport capability can land after
making their approach move and having being fired upon
by any enemy flak. If the aircraft lands in dangerous
terrain it must take a dangerous terrain test.............

Once landed, the aircraft is treated in all ways as a ground
unit with a speed of 0 (ie, it may not move) It may not
carry out an action on the turn it lands. If it is involved in
an assault and loses then it is automatically destroyed.
Once landed, the aircraft may make a disengagement
move and exit the table in the end phase of any turn,
including the one it landed in.

Reading this Id say that a landed t'hawk or landing craft can capture objectives.  I may be misinterpreting them though  :)

At present they can. And it's been a long standing argument if they SHOULD. This is a classic example of an army list meant to beat a 'takes all comers' list. Most people going to a tournament build a list which can take on anything it's likely to face. A balanced and normal list. But it's very easy to create a list which focuses so heavily on just one piece of the game that it makes the enemy list have an EXTREMELY hard time stopping it. This happens in 40K as well. People construct armies designed to exploit one bit of the army list to the most extreme it can be, and what happens is that other lists designed with a more moderate attitude almost always lose to it.

Yup, couldnt agree more.  Liking the look of the Aircraft  rules being developed at SG.  The other problem is the extreme flexibilty of the AE army lists.  At the least the numbers of Thawks and L-craft should be capped.

Currently Space Marines are the only army list capable of doing this.. Because they're the only ones with aircraft outside the 1/3 restriction. I don't think any other army can take more then 1/3 of their points as aircraft... But yes. I'd suggest changing it somehow. Not sure how exactly.

my mistake J0k3r.
we have always played like "you have to make disengagement in the end phase of the turn"...
that wasnt the right way cause like you wrote...

It'd be awesome to behold, for certain. If anyone feels up to actually trying this list, I'd love to hear it!

Coincidently: This is exactly the kind of list which is good for play-testing a list. Try things which shouldn't work and which sound totally ludicrist. Cus you might just find something is broken and doesn't work the way it should! If a list which SHOULD lose consistently is winning instead... Something's probably wrong!
