Thus perhaps the Vindicator upgrade should follow rulebook as well? In Scions it's cheaper to buy a pair as the list is armour themed and it balances the base cost of formations.

i think i'll use you costs for now Hena they seem to work  :) , currenty i think the main list stats are not useable at all, 75 points each is alot for two Vindicators so for now i'd like to go with the Scions points i nobody minds to much.

and on bikes the BT Neophyte bikers will max out that thunderhawks Capacity  !!!!!

I wouldn't call the Power Armoured Sword Brethren formation "Sword Brethren units". "Sword Brethren units detachment" sounds abit strange :D
Simply delete the "units" from the name.
And you want to replace the wording of the Razorback upgrade with "Add any number of Razorbacks, up to the number required to transport the formation." to match the 2008Errata.

BTW, I played last weekend with a BT list.  I can't give any balance feedback because I was crushed by die rolls.  In 3 turns I failed every single activation that was not 1+.  I lost every single assault, usually by wide margins, even when the odds were seriously in my favor at the start.  Assorted other chance-related die rolls took their toll as well (like enemy Thawks saving ~10 hits in a row and my bike/neophyte formation not making a single save).  It was gruesome.

That said... I liked the feel of the list.  It was something like:

Tacs + 6 Neophytes + Hunter
Tacs + Commander + Razorback + Hunter
Tacs + 3 Razorbacks + 2 Hunters
Bikes + 4 neophytes
Terminators + Champion
Speeders
LR Crusaders
CAS Thawk

It had a good horde feel, with the Crusader formations coming in around 500 points on average.  Average formation cost was ~375 points and all were pretty tough.  Playing against an air-assault marine force, it would have weathered the wave of Thawks and been able to counter-attack strongly had my activations not failed ad infinitum.

The best way to describe it might be that it felt like a very meaty SM force.  I liked it.

The LRCs didn't see much action (did I mention that ALL my activations failed?) but a formation didn't seem out of line at 400 points.
