We use G/W-S/G and F/W regardless. We don't follow Epic dogma to the letter.  We do what suits us, not what current tournament rules say. :D

Yeah, but when we have tournament lists we can pick-and-play with basically total stranger (and have basically balanced game). If we dont have "universally accepted rules" we have to use unnecessary time to go through house-rules.

Of course we can do just whatever we want behind our four walls at home, but then what do we need rules for?

And I do want to attend tournaments.

Actually I decided to make some fan-list about Forge World Vanilla Marines. Har har, and just to make things interesting I shall call them Howling Griffons (who have so little fluff apart from that they follow codex that I have room to maneuver).

Ok, Nico

We have your thoughts on lists, so what are your thoughts on the THT being in the core list. Would you as a Marine player, would you like to use it in a tournament? Its about choice, we have a new model it was released post development, is there room for it?

Cheers
Aaron

I definedly think that (basically) all those FW goodies (and Crusader)  have place in core list. But I also know that we have (basically) working core list and if it is not broken, dont fix it. So leave core list as it is and make other "core list". So we have less old burden to carry.

Sorry, cant open. Work-computer wont let me to any site that has metadescription of "games". Can you send it so me via email?

But if there already is "full codex" list then I dont need to do anything. Or does that list have some problems?

No one was interested? Whoa... This is just what I mean about Epic Communitys lack of support to FW minis.

Well, in that your list there was 120 cm missile for TH which could be hard to swallow. So I shall take that list, Scions and Main list and whip something up myself too. Just for fun if not anything else.

OK, nice looking Marine upgrades. Will have to play around with this. Ok so come on can you add the THT to the Marine Core List without unbalancing it, I think we can.

No, I understand that there must be a "Core" set of rules, Nico. And no one is going to expect Commissars and the =][= coming into your war room and seeing what rules you are using !

If i where in charge i would change the stats of the Thunderhawk to better match what it can do in Wh40k.
Look at my Epic: Apocalypse Datasheets (which reminds me that i still have to do the other races)
It can be found here:

I'd use a THawk-T... Transport capacity is poor (2 Rhinos+4 stands), but it does let you drop small formations someplace rude (like that unit of devs in a crossfire position when the other THawk drops an air assault)...
