EA Handbook 2008 used.

Not a full battle report, because really there was very little to report of interest for playtesting purposes. 2-0 to marines on turn 3 with defend the flag and they shall not pass. Eldar ended up outactivated. Both lists seem pretty much fine.

Here's a pic of the end:

Given the nerfs to other EA races, once again I was left wondering whether marines really need the mods to the ATSKNF rule now. The half BM in assault mod could probably do with being dropped I think.

Only other thing I thought worth mentioning was the Banshees, two troops with exarchs in Vampire came in and bounced off  the marines again. Target was an undamaged tactical formation ( razorback and hunter upgrade, 3 rhinos). For close combat specialists these girls were once again very underwhelming. Against some targets they are better - things with no or low armour saves. Those situations don't happen very often though.  Should something be done with Banshees? Seems a shame that the ladies tend to be consigned to the box in favour of more generally useful options...

Also can I repeat calls for a single forum for EA battle reports. They generally apply to more than one race and crossposting is just annoying, as is hunting for playtest reports.

I thought we were going to be placing all the bat reps to live forever on the wiki?
