Well, it lets you mix things up a bit, such as Predators with Tacticals, Land Speeders with Bikes, etc.

That let's you get slightly bigger, more shooty formations, which ATSKNF keeps rolling along even when shot at, giving some needed "depth" to Marine formations.

Locally the Marine players will often field their Tact/Dev/Scout units with maxed Razorbacks for a similar effect.

Also similar to the Blood Angel list's options, which are also quite popular here.

Cool battle report thanks :).

Included two things I am meaning to try, Hena's list and a very tank heavy battle.

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to pwn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

No problem!  Was a very fun game, even though I got my butt kicked!  *laugh*

I'm debating putting together a Black Legion or an Eldar grav-tank army up against the Armoured Variant next... or maybe Tyranids!  *laugh*
