and at 3000 points i think a Supreme Commander is a must.

Well, for most armies I agree, but for pure 1+ armies, like Marines or Necrons, I don't think it's always a "no-brainer" if those points 100/300 can fit in better elsewhere.

Though failing two 2+ rolls for the Thunderhawk really put a crimp in my opponent's plans... *laugh*

i suppose i'm use to Eldar and Orks, with a 75 point one and a Free one!!!!!

It's hard *not* to take the *FREE* one with Orks... *laugh*

I believe both Chaos armies have free supreme commander as well.

Nice battle report thanks.  Now I want to give that marine army list a go it sounds interesting.

Thanks for the report. It was so close and that armoured variant list looks good. Especially thawks are effective. :D
