Hello! ?So, this Saturday I'm off to the Full Scale Assault Epic Tournament in mansfield, taking my Iron Hands Space Marines. ?Here's the list - note it's now set in stone, completely unalterable!
Tactical Detachment (+ Iron Father (Supreme Commander), Hunter) 475pts Tactical Detachment (+ Hunter) 375pts Terminator Detachment 325pts Devestator Detachment (+ Razorbacks) 350pts Predator Detachment 300pts Whirlwind Detachment 300pts Warlord Titan 850pts
Basically, if you've any advice prior to this tournament (other than changing my list - it may not be the 'best', but it's what I'm taking! ? ), I'd really appreaciate it.
Going in to the tournament my strategy revolves around holding the objective near my table edge with either the Warlord or Whirlwinds, and attacking with two spearheads - one Tac Detachments with the Preds, the other with the Devs. ?The Termies I'll teleport in to either defend my objectives or (try to!) take an opponents objective.
The enemy armies and units I'm least looking forward to facing, and would be most appreciative of advice in dealing with, are the following:
- Eldar (they'll run rings round me!) - Ork Great Gargants (can take a beating & dish it out) - Imperial Guard Tank Companies (as they can dish out lots of AT/AP firepower at a range I can't really get back at them with) - and general big hordes of Infantry (Tyranids! ? )
Thanks for reading, and any advice! ?
