Very cool. Looks to be made for 30mm, but some of it should be usable.

My aeonic orb could also be added:

- half of Firestorm Armada Directorate Overseer Class Carrier
- random necron bits
- ball bearing

Will need a little more painting but 90% done.

Apologies if this isn't the right place for this-

What do people usually think of the quality of Exodus Wars miniatures?
I just bought an Edenite Assault Squad to start off my Necron force, and am not impressed. The mould lines aren't a huge issue for me, but of the 10 lords in the pack only 2 are properly cast. 4 have their right arm end mid-upper arm, 3 end mid-lower arm, and 1 has the right arm fine but the right leg is partially missing and left arm weapon has issues. It's not a good look for what should be the stand-out characters in my force.

I found them to be nice sculpts when they're cast properly.

But I've bought necron-proxies from them twice and have had between 10 - 25% misscasts. Which of course is way to much and I have therefore never bought any other infantry stuff from them.

EDIT: I think you should contact them about that. That's not an acceptable. You should get replacements.

Tbh EW models are cheap enough that you can buy twice as many models as you need (to cover for the high rate of miscasts) and still come out ahead.

I've just bought a batch of andrayada infantry from DRM, they are excellent and could be used as necrons.

I agree, but contacting them is next to impossible. I still haven't heard back about a shipping price enquiry I made over a month ago now. The only reason I managed to get the models I have is that they were second hand- but still brand new in the sealed packet, so I don't blame the seller for the condition.

I'd rather spend 1.5, even 2 times as much for product that's good as-ordered. I don't like to have a bunch of mostly useless miscasts lying around but I also hate to throw models away. Going down that discussion road though is probably major thread derailment.

I'll look into them, thanks

I think Don over at onslaught have said he's planning to do some ancient-egypt/pharao inspired skeleton robot miniature line as well. I really look forward to those, might be worth waiting for.

I'm using EW Edenites, DRM Andys, and GW Chaos Androids in my Necrons ... Yes, in the future Onslaught is going to release Pharons [IIRC the name correctly ?]. Who also are Android types. Also look at CinC/PFC SEM Robots ... kind of reminds me of 2 Gen Cylons ... 8)
