I aim to have a complete listing of any suitable 6mm proxies for Necron units that are publicly available, as well as links to any conversions people have made. If you find something that's not on the list, feel free to post in the thread and I'll add it to the first post! First, Epic: Raiders has a comprehensive guide to converting nearly all the units in the list. You can find it in pdf form at http://www.tacticalwargames.net/resources/raiders2.zip I will list Raiders as a source only if it's the only source for a conversion. If there is an alternate conversion or a proxy available, I won't list Raiders, as it would mean repeating the link twenty times! C'tan Deceiver Raiders C'tan Nightbringer Warhammer Cairn Wraith. Even comes with a metallic face. Necron Lord Exodus Wars Edenite Assault Sergeant (Single or as part of the Edenite Assault Squad) DRM Andrayda Commander Necron Warriors Exodus Wars Edenite Infantry DRM Andrayda Infantry Phalanx Immortals Exodus Wars Edenite Heavy Infantry (Squad of 50 or as part of the Infantry Squad) DRM Andrayda Heavy Phalanx DRM Andrayda Vanguards Pariahs Exodus Wars Edenite Assault Squad (comes with 10 Assault Sergeants who make suitable Necron Lords) DRM Andrayda Bodyguards Tomb Spyders Raiders (Based on 40k plastic scarabs, available from ebay - simple, but very effective) Wraiths Raiders Obelisks Raiders Battlefleet Gothic Necron Dirge Escorts Dystopian Wars Russian Novgorod Frigates DRM Andraydas Vira Conversion made from bits from the 40k Necron Lychguards - a Phase Shield and the top of a staff (design by leaxe). Buy the shields from a bits shop like Bits and Kits GrimDarkBits on Shapeways Destroyers Plastic Scarabs from the old Necron Warrior set for Warhammer 40k makes an excellent lower body. Add the torso of any suitable model to make a destroyer, like Edenite Heavy Infantry or Andrayda Infantry. Monoliths Raiders Battlefleet Gothic Necron Jackal Escort Pyramid Ship design on shapeways. Expensive, and maybe slightly on the big side (2.924 w x 3.442 d x 3.36 h in cm), but a cool design. Conversion made from three 40k Necron Lychguard Phase Shields (design by leaxe). Buy the shields from a bits shop like Bits and Kits Conversion made from square slottabases. Pylon Raiders Flayed Ones Exodus Wars Edenite Infiltration Infantry Æonic Orb leaxe's conversion (half of Firestorm Armada Directorate Overseer Class Carrier, random necron bits, ball bearing) Raiders Abattoir Raiders Warbarque Raiders This is what I'm aware of. If you got any other good proxies or conversion, please sound off in this thread! |

Any one have a good pic of the BFG necron escorts next to some epic? I think I'm going to use them as a base for the necron fighters and bombers but I'm not sure which one would be a better scale. |

Nice thread! I agree with Lord Aaron, that the BFG ships would make better fighter/bomber then Obelisks/Monoliths. But I came across a very potential Monolith proxy the other day! What do you guys think? http://www.shapeways.com/model/106601/p ... Box-search |

It looks very good, but I'm worried about the price - €10 for one Monolith gets expensive quite fast. Would it be legal to buy one and then cast your own? I kinda doubt it, though. edit: Added to list. |

Saw that pyramid thing too, and thought "too expensive for what it is, and surely one of the tac-com sculptors could do something better!!". Speaking of which, why hasn't an innovative tac-com sculptor done an IP neutral monolith proxy yet?? |

That monolith idea is super! They look very evil in a eldritch techno horror way! Like it a lot! Is that hair for scale reference? Hehe |
