Mosc, can you please tell me which list is the current Necron core list? The compendium that Neal Hunt provided me to do the Army Book 2012 contains the Scarab Conflict v2.0, the Nalsaran incident and the Dyracchium III lists. Neither matches the Necron list in Raiders 2.0.... I assume the Scarab list is the up to date core list but there are differences to Raiders 2.0 Cheers |

There are only "first published" lists. I believe it's the Scarab Conflict that's the one that appeared in Raiders, and when I asked about the differences between the drafts for the 2010 army book and Raiders the answer was that Raiders 2.0 is the correct version. |

I have no idea why Chroma labeled it the "Scarab Conflict" list or whatnot. This was pretty typical to find little creative nuances in the army compendium that accidentally would creep into them (along with Dark Eldar 'dark portals'). I asked him to remove them and never got a response, but that was around child birthing time for his wife so I'll give him a pass. The Raiders 2.0 list is supposed to be the Necron core list. There are one or two things that need to be fixed (like the crit on the Orb being a 3BP instead of a 4BP) and another one or two things that Zombocom wants to adjust (like C'tan getting walker, which is fine with me). |

This thread is no place for the CORE LIST arguement  There quite definitely are core lists in Epic Armageddon. Let's move on. From memory, the only confirmed change to Raiders 2 is the Walker ability on C'tan. Are there any other changes from the recent discussions? |

I'll put out an updated list today. It will be as Mosc says, the Raiders list with a couple of minor changes. Dobbsy: Do you have the source to the compendium files? If so, email me the necron parts to skinski@email.com and I'll fix them up. The argument about core lists is irrelevant. Some armies effectively have one, some don't. Either way, the eventual effect is that there are just lists, some approved and some not. |

So True but its 0400 here and feeling a bit cheeky to the issue(not really an issue tho but I lack a good vocabulary substituent atm)of "No Core List" ness. For some reason this was the thread that I decided to have that tangent. Oh Look Undead Robots! But yes I concur with all the Offical Necron Talk in this thread. Walker for C'tans! Walker for the C'tan is a definite, one of the few times I've ever seen just about universal acceptance for a list change! I think a 25 point drop on destroyers is probably warranted too, if only to shut people up! Other than that I think the only other change from raiders 2.0 is the orb critical Mosc mentioned. |
