I've got a command Falcon that I want to mod slightly to represent the Striking Scorpion. I'm wanting to do something similar to the Brass Scorpion and mount a laser as its tail coming over the turret. Anyone got any ideas how the actual laser cannon would be mounted coming up from behind the turret? |

Lex: Is the idea to mount the turret on the tail, or to attach a tail to the turret? I think the trick will be finding the proper mounting piece. One possibility that springs to mind is the curved weapon mount of an old plastic vibrocannon. I'm not sure about the scale. At a guess I'd think it might work if you're mounting the entire turret, but probably not if you're mounting to the turret. If you're mounting just the weapon, a power cord from a 40K scale mini would work or something similar in texture and size, like guitar string. |
