Ordinatus target: my camera

Ordinatus Ogilvy lumbers alongside rocket outpost 27 in the Ost Eisen Desert.

Presumably, the accompanying vehicles are either trailing the Ogilvy or have already advanced beyond the outpost, since Ordinatii are always accompanied by at least a platoon of close defense skitarii and air defense vehicles.

Nice job, camera, you completely washed out months of shading and highlighting.

Very nice work.  I really like your choice of colors.

If your camera had a flash, try turning it off, and ram up the exposure time instead. That'll bring out the highlights better.

I tried a variety of flash/no-flash, focal lengths, and so forth, but no luck. Next time I'll try increasing my JPEG compression quality and the exposure time as you indicated.

No, the synthesized hero of Oceania (Orwell's 1984).

Colors used:

My own blend of super-light khaki (essentially Vallejo or Citadel khaki plus a lot of white)
Vallejo alcohol-based silver with black wash
Terracotta + red (need to figure out a good highlight for this color)
Plain ol' grey

Other knick-knacks: etched brass hatches and portholes.

This Ordinatus was literally the worst acceptable cast I made. Even so, the quality disgusted me, so I am once again committed to resurrect the Ordinatus. This time, though, I have a year's experience, and so the quality should be better.
