Post subject:  Epic Mine Sweeper
While playing a game the other day, I said to a friend that with his minefield terrain I should make a mine sweeper conversion to use in battle. ?Well tonight I decided to see what I could do. ?Here are some WIP pics along with the finished tank, ready to paint. ?  I am fairly new to converting 6 mm so they may not be the best conversions.  Just let me know what you guys think.

Great work Sir. I also had an idea for minesweepers but I used a rhino and the rollers from an ork battlewagon.

I was expecting some kindoff desktop game in which when you click a little space marine goes Ooooh and then tells you how many mines surround him.

Nice conversion, Plm. I might put a blast shield between the Land Raider and the roller, just to make it more "realistic."

For a blast shield do you mean something like a dozer style blade, I did a couple searches for mine sweepers and could not find a lot of pics to go by. ?Thanks for the comments guys, just a little more work and I will get then painted up.

Yeah, something like a dozer blade, or even just a slab of armor, to protect the vehicle from the blast of the land mine.

i like them, i dont see the need for an extra armour plate, the blast of a mine would occur under /to the front of the roller.

watch out for delayed detonation mines.... :D
