I'm trying to do a fire dragon altar stand for my Fire Dragon Troupe.
http://lexcore.co.uk/Epic4/apage.php?allegiance=Eldar
And a bit stuck for ideas.
The plan I had for my Eldar was build a floating city (bit like Laputa).
Planning to use some ideas from http://uk.games-workshop.com/eldar/studio-ruins/1/
The layout will be quite hard as I want to use the space economical, so probably have several high and low level so the pieces overlap above and below.
Anyway, enough ranting. I'm trying to figure out how I would make an altar for the Phoneix Lord, I've got two small dragons from an old Dragon Lord? game. But finding it hard to do anything else.
Also thinking of converting the troupe to a marble base and not a grassy base.
Any ideas or suggestions?

If you have a craftworld in mind, incorporating the craftworld symbol might help give some focus.
In the asence of that, I would tend to go for some kind of gate struture similar to a Shinto shrine, only Eldar-y and wraithbone-ish. I could see an Eldar shrine being much more of a "pass through the gate and pass into a new state of mind" sort of idea than an actual building.
You could also go with some sort of brazier/bonfire/pass-through-the-flame sort of structure as well. Or incorporate that into a gate.
That kind of stuff would also work well on top of a platform.
Of course, the gate idea obviously has overtones of Biel Tan symbology, so you might not like it for that reason.
