Hello all,

So it has begun.

Keeping with my battle of the Twelve colonis theme I have am using DRM minis to represent the ground war.

I have decided to build a Colonial armored company.

3 Tank Platoons with a HQ element backed by a platoon of mechanized Infantry, some artillery support, AAA defence, and some recon tanks. ?

I have made this little bit of Fluff that the red striping is a colonial military emblem. The First Cylon war is what united the 12 Colonies so hence they were "born in blood" so to speak. The red strip on their ships, aircraft, and combat vehicles is that unifying emblem.

My plan right now is to paint them brown. If you think about the original series flight jacket or the current series dress uniform your on the right track.

So without further delay allow me to introduce you to the first platoon, Lamba Company, 2nd Battalion, 40th Armored Regiment, 1st Colonial Armored division.

In a funny story my wife droped number 14 when I was showing it to her.  I had to repaint some parts and the rear taillights were a bit smashed.

Considering it's number it is now called "Lucky"  :D

Excellent Job !  You know they kind of remind me of the old UK/IDF Centurion ... Good Tac color !  And I've spent sometime around AFVs in the past ... wouldn't be the first time I'd have seen smashed tail lights  !

Great! :D  Glad to see you're still progressing with this project.  How are you going about force organisation, as I guess info regarding the period of the First Cylon war isn't exactly forthcoming other than the odd reference in the current series...

...though that may change, when the spin-off series 'Caprica' starts, supposedly set before the Cylon war :)

I wasn't aware of that.  The lack of information was my ally.  I can do what I want to do... :D
