Here's a pic of a rhino that came with my Thunderhawk transporter.

The title is an homage to an episode of the Simpsons where Homer goes insane and tries to cram Lenny's head into a puzzle. Lenny yells, "Aaa, my eyes! My doctor says I'm not supposed to get jigs in them!"

Hmm, thats no good, why no clamps like the lander, or something that looks like a big magnet?

Yep !  The same "appendage", is on the Land Raider with my T/Hawk Trans ... I think it sucks ... But it could be cut off and detailed ?  But I'm trying to sell/trade mine off, I think Hena mention he might be interested ?  So I guess, we'll have to wait and see if F/W does release them ... without the "dorsal fin" !  :D

Wow what an ingenius way to force you to buy the "normal" Rhinos and land raiders.

so much for the bargain

Am I the only one not that impressed witht the detail on the models anyway? The panels lines are only slightly clearer defined than the SG version. The main difference I can see is the added detail to the tracks... ??? Unless they start releasing those chapter specific doors or chaos conversion kits I really don't see much point in getting them...

You could conceivably separate that top pieces and then use two small magnets to hold them together, but that would entail DRILLING into your Rhino... Can you imagine if it split? UGH.

I hope to get a date for the release of the non-silly version next week.

Any chance of an in-focus picture or two? :)

Now there's an idea - that could be a Rhino with a very large Snorkel attachment for submerging for river crossings.

Yes, E&C, keep us informed about those "non-silly" version. But you are correct, Hena, it can be done. And most of the detail added ... back. Of course, it could be converted to a command version with a different hull configuration on top after "it" is cut off or ... a looted Ork Rhino/L/Rdr with different weapons configurations.

Without seeing the back, it seems that you could cut the "smokestack" off and drop a Razorback turret on top.

The Raider I got is perfect from all aspects, save for the "Dorsal Fin" !  BTW, E&C - mention to F/W how much this "displeases" us !

As I mentioned in PM, the mold for the complete version exists, it's just not on the sale schedule yet.
