I don't think that technique is intended to be used after painting!

Yes/da/si/oui/hai that it surely is not. It is for showing off UNpainted metal minis.

Could we get this thread pinned?  I find it very useful and I'd hate for it to submerge.

This thread might be a bit old, but I've been looking at it with interest and I'd like to ask those people who can hold the minis in their hands: which faction do you think best resembles Starship Troopers MI cap troopers?  That is, the power suit design used in the TV animation and Mongoose's 30mm game.

NSL are a good match as far as uniform/armour goes.  The Japanese Corporate might match the original helmet a bit better though.  Unfortunately, all the GZG stuff have nice realistic compact assault weapons, so they aren't a great match for the oversized Starship Troopers ones.

Ah yes, 'the board'! In evidence at every show they attend.

Weird! I just spoke to a LGS who sent me a pdf of their tanks. I'd post it here but the file attachement is 500KB so too large to post

I can turn it into a smaller pic, or you could stick it up somewhere else and link to it?
