I've actually been tinkering away at this army for several months now, but kept it mostly under wraps because 1) I was planning on entering stuff in the EpiComp, and 2) I wanted to wait until I had more painted stuff to show.
Anyway, as of the begining of this year I'd completed the following units: A Banelord Titan 'Ferrus Eternum'

and the army's commander, Warsmith Haggath and his retinue of Chosen & Obliterators (plus and objective)

My apologies for posting repeat pics; here are some detailed shots of the Chosen and the Obliterators - and Warsmith Haggath

Ironically, after posting the pic of the objective in EpiComp I realised it was unfinished as I'd neglected to paint a mutant slave at the back of it! So I'm going to do that this week...
Anyway, this will be quite a big army when it's finished (at least 4,000 points), mainly consisting of armour units. Here's some more pics of what I've got finished thus far...

Very nice! I particularly like the Obliterators.

For you component obesessives here's some WIP shots of the Warsmith and the Obliterators - I guess the parts are pretty self explanatory. The Warsmith's Kai Gun is a tiny bit of Sprue I carved to shape; I also used Techmarine Servo-arms. The Obliterators are Wraethu's recipe: Old SM 2-era robots, guns from Ogryns & Ork Nobs, and parts from Chaos Termies/Chosen. Add Green Stuff to taste!

As I said, this army is going to be focussed upon armour - there'll be a detachment of Predators, a detachment of Land Raiders, and 3 Decimators (I plan to base mine on Warmaster Nice's version).
Here's a WIP on the Predators - these need spikening-up and Chaosifying

I also plan to incorporate a few 'house rules' units, such as making the Obliterators a detachment on their own, and a formation of Artillery - six Basilisks (in absence of Defiler models).
I'm also going to make two more of these 'Super Basilisks' (they need a better and suitably Chaotic name!), which some of you may recognise from the 'Big Guns/Arms Race' Thread a few months back. I originally intended to make this an objective, but thanks to the parts sponsorship of Justiniel and Warmaster Nice I'm going to make two more. This is pic shows the 75% finished version; I later added claws from an old Ork Gun Wagon as stabilisers, and a few spikes.

Next, I'm going to concentrate on getting the Rhino's finished, so watch this space.
WMN, thanks, glad you like them but as I said they're Wraehtu's idea so I can't accept all the Kudos! My addition was to sculpt some chunky shoulder pads, as I didn't have enough spare Chosen minis to give all of them the same shoulders.
BTW, Warmaster, would you like an article for 'Incoming!' about the construction of my Banelord? It was quite an epic affair! (No pun intended )

Hmm nice... I love Iron Warriors. But probably will not do them in Epic. Think I will have to go with Black Legion as then I can get away with a lot more of a mix of different powers and paint schemes. Really like what your doing.

All flipping excellent! Especially like the super basilisk and titan. Once again I'm complimenting (what seems to be, mostly) a beetleback... Maybe it's something I ate? Or maybe I think they suit Chaos more than Imperials.
What did you do with it? I can see 40K vehicle parts and Abaddon's claw in there, at least.

The legs look like an extended set of Chaos dread legs and the tail possibly Necron in origin.
AAgain nice job. My favourite remain the Obliterators. Definitely some great inspiration for when I pull myself together to make my own version.
