I figure, these Bugz can be based on some "odd" alien looking terrain ... blue & white sand, burnt orange and rust brown flora and fauna. Some "wyerd " rocks, etc. ... Just plain strange !

As to the bright colors...we can't expect "foul xenos" to understand the complexty and importance of the proper use of dark green camo. 
For that failing... we must do as the blessed Emperor decrees and smite them!
