The beautiful Mrs Logue is painting up an Eldar army. After seeing her results so far: ![]() I decided to forgive her for her girly influences on my gaming den (such as this foam card that I was planning on making some ruined buildings out of and her pink dice......... yick) ![]() She has done all of the painting though I stuffed around with her bases a bit while she was painting up the other stuff (lots of the infantry is done just not based yet). We are using glittersnow by Hekki with light green static grass from Woodland Scenics (huge container is like a dollar more than the tiny little GW one). I am kind of proud of her, its looking pretty good. She also is a very good 6mm general and tends to kick my but when using said Eldar. |

Two 13 Week semesters a year thats what 26/52 weeks wow 1/2 a year studying and the rest of the time filled with parties, meeting my wife and a whole lot of gaming...... ok so thats looking on things with rose colored glasses there was a whole lot of casual work and what not and struggling to pay bills.... but it was definitely fun. |

Nicely painted. I wonder how women paint other races as Eldar as they tend to chose them or elves... |

Great work mrs Logue. They look very good. Is she planning to use alaitoc list? (or just the colour) |

She just uses the Beil Tan list. Very well actually. I am really hoping for the changes in the Eldar list to go up on SG as official to reduce the frequency of me getting my but kicked by the eldar. The color scheme is just the colors in the 40K codex for the aspect warriors so they are easy to tell apart and the colors she used for her BFG fleet for everything else. The BFG fleet colors were not chosen for reasons of fluff or anything like that she just wanted to use a turquoise type color and a GW staffie recommended using bone as a contrast. I wonder how women paint other races as Eldar as they tend to chose them or elves... Eventually she will be doing Tau as well, chosen for the same reason, she likes forces that are able to avoid being killed. She doesn't like throwing a unit of expendable troops away to achieve goals, doesn't like that sort of imagery. She will try and conserve all of her troops and try and pick fights that she just can't loose. So Tau get a good rating as well because they use advanced technology to shoot everything, avoid combat with fast transports and are allowed to move away from assaults. |

Oh wow, I very happily married, but expecting my wife to start painting BFG is too much... Oh, but she is very creative when it comes to building and doing art with children. |

Eldar 1.8 is leap in good direction. I agree that painting aspects in traditional shrine colours, is a way to go.. and it helps a lot in games. Often girls/women tend to be either elf or orc players.. ![]() |
