Well got another formation finished. Had quite some fun with these boys. I've also been playing around with my girlfriends new camera. It is really cool, but it has tonnes of settings to try and get right.



I've also been working on some other stuff. I couldn't find my Wraithgate, I wasn't that worried though as I really don't like the SG Wraithgate. This is the one which I have been working on. using Exarch wings and bits from the new wraithlord and warwalker sprues.

o and the paint jobs are nice too! :0

i love the wings thing for the gate... I did the same thing for my tyranids...only with lictor bits.(see other thread) It totaly gives it the "LOOK AT ME! I AM IMPORTANT!" feel.

I used to be rated as a good epic painter, but I can't compete with the ones they are breeding these days :)

What are the broken statue type things on the base of the wraithgate made from??

I thought I'd replied to this. anyhow, they are on the new wraithlord and warwalker sprues. the base is also off the new wraithlord.

I really should be doing work emails since I dont get online much at the moment, but I was pointed to this thread & its well worthy of comment.

Brilliant work.

The photos have ben saved to my "Inspirational miniatures" folder - I hope you dont mind!

I particularly like the bike with the split hull paint job  - had flames, half runes. Great deatil skill - you put some of my stuff to shame!
