Post subject:  A Storms brewing!!
After having racked up over 9000 pts of Orky goodness, and over 5000 pts of Tau, it has come time to start my third army. This time I've gone for standard marines and my chapter the Storm Bringers.

I have complete 2 formations - Tactical squad and Land Raider detachment which can be seen here

As I said in another thread I'm having trouble with my varnish so the final results have been somewhat melted!! However just thought I'd start this thread to share the photos and I'll try to keep it updated as I go.

As "storm bringers", are they a White Scars successor Chapter?

Chroma I haven't really worked out a background to them yet!! But I guess they could be. I'll look into it a bit more :-)

I just wanted to come up with something that was reasonably easy to paint but looked reasonably good .. so dark grey with a thunderbolt as chapter insignia semed to fit.

Thanks guys.. Van - I'll do a an army pic eventually.... But for now I've quickly taken a couple of snaps of the termies.. I'm off on holiday tomorrow at the crack of dawn so snapped these on the box the Dull Cote was sprayed on!!.....

Decided to have something different on the bases this time and had them walking down a road (british of course.......)...








Thats it until I start again after my week in the Sun...diving in Egypt ? :D
