Holy cow, how do you sculpt figures that tiny? Lots of patience, and time between parts? That looks great so far! |

Thanks again, everyone! ![]() The concept sketch from the temporary forums, in case one or two missed it: ![]() EDIT: hmm. ?After looking at that again, should I give him a book? Tv1013: that, plus a certain level of obsession (e.g. I'm fighting the temptation to thicken the end of that cable, where it joins to the staff...), and sacrificing your eyesight. ![]() I actually found this easier to do than my few aborted 28mm sculpts. ?Maybe because the shapes and details don't have to be as precise. ?And I'm used to working small - most of my drawings are little thumbnails and doodles. |

Or maybe add the book on the left hip, below the tank and to the left slightly. Just an idea. In any case, he looks great! dafrca |

Fantastic. You should talk to Eureka about sculpting their upcoming range * of 6mm made to order figures......seriously. * No, AFAIK Eureka don't currently plan this. However, their one caveat b efore was they didn't have anyone to sculpt in 6mm....and so if Vermis is sculpting for them.... |

Dobbsy: I think Bob Naismith already did. ![]() Zap: interesting... but the thought of a 'boss' ordering me to churn out several minis to a deadline fills me with terror. Gimme a while to practise, at least. ![]() |

(Vermis @ Jul. 17 2006,08:36) QUOTE ....interesting... but the thought of a 'boss' ordering me to churn out several minis to a deadline fills me with terror. That's nice, now quite posting and get back to work. Just kidding. ![]() dafrca |
