New year comes with the 2024 Northeast paint challenge. The 1st quarter will be rough. I got a plan, goals and with isolation should be easy.

First up is to finish the 30K sallies. I have been plugging away with assembly and priming. The sallies will travel with me to Israel. Israel being an operational theater. I plan on painting every night. I have been there before. So sucks but not as bad as never ever visiting. Normally my armies travel in Chessex cases. I will be packing a butt load of minis. A chessex and GW small will fly with me.

Secondary is the FW City table. This is a must complete. I have promised it for AdeptiCon. I do need to be home. I would say out of the 6 tiles it is 60% done. I have all the materials. I only need time to work.

The table's looking great. Hopefully we can see it at Bill's event or NEAT.

Does Bill have a date? Hopefully it is after AdeptiCon!

NEAT for sure! I will need a date for NEAT. I want to put off time in. Last time I got screwed out of going.

There's a very high change it'll be 6/29. I'll send an e-mail out in April to see what works for the most people but historically it's always been the last Saturday of June.

I will put in for last saturday in June. Then I can always move it. Thanks!

Thank you. The red and white unit markings are throughout the army. My poor way of tying it all together.

Teams meetings are a waste. Of waste of me doing my actual job, but an excellent time for painting terrain. Beofre you have a heart attack. That tank factory is a copy. The original reserved as a master.

Thank you. It is german green and scorpion green with a soft tone wash.

I am struggling to match the armor I painted a couple of years ago.

Those look amazing! It has always been an ambition of mine to recreate the Vraks conflict from the Forgworld Imperial Armour book - hopefully one day!

Very nice Sallies too, that is a lovely shade.

I tried to keep a paint diary to avoid this issue and never did. Drove me nuts when I went to paint some more Sons of Horus.

I have my notebook and a blog for the sole purpose of being able to step back and recreate. What was apparent then is not now. Or it could be style and technique that has changed over the years. Which is the the root cause of my issues.

Maybe someone changed a paint formulation on you?
