just realised you are using questor side gun pods as mounts for some of those scourge(?) guns, very neat

I had to check my build pics: https://the-epic-gamer.blogspot.com/202 ... ights.html

The Questor's pod barrels just got put on some Hell-Knights as they looked more Fusion Gun-esque. And then I took the Hell-Knights guns and made them into Battle Cannons for the Questor as they looked like those on the Subjugator. The Questor was definitely the most modified though, the Castigator Cannons were scratch built out of plasticard to match the Hell-Scourge's gun. And I cut up some Hell-Striders to make the top pod/bulk them out.

I ended up going with a seafoam green for the Blast Masters on the Noise Marines. I think it sets them apart nicely from the rest. THese are all finished up now, aside for topcoats and flocking. I'll get to that down the road when I have a few more things in the queue for the airbrush.

Messing around with something different, ACW Union Infantry from Baccus. I took Napoleonic Therapy's method and added a few highlights. Everything is Coat d'arms paints.

I wanted a little more variety in my Chaos Cultist and Mutant stands so I've been doing weapon swaps between the two models. I'm nearly done, the last bit will be to convert Cultists with both Beastmen weapons and vice versa.

Image

I'm also kicking around ideas for heavy weapon cultists. One Heavy Stubber and one panzerfaust-esque model. Nothing to show yet for them.

Image

I also painted up some more Union infantry. Six strips took me about 3 hours, which isn't horrible for me.

Finished up another brigade this week. I'm on the hunt for more Baccus skirmishers as I want to have 3 stands of formed behind three stands of skirmishers to make my units.

Thanks Apoc.

I finished up another two units this week. Three more to go, including some fun with flags, until I start basing them.

I finished another two units this week. All that's left are the eight command strips, which I hope to finish next week along with the flags that came in for Tiny Tin Troops. Then I'll get them glued to some bases and put in the flocking queue.

I finished up eight command strips this past week for what I painted so far and got the Tiny Tin Troops standards on them as well. I've done some pretty fiddly conversion projects in the past and these are right up there with them. Between all the aligning, cutting and glueing they're pretty involved. I like the effect though, they add a lot of character.

Thanks Apoc. Have you seen The Wargaming Companies new plastics? We have a local looking to get some.

I'm trying to figure out the scheme for my Slaanesh Titans this week. I'm pretty happy with the purple to magenta armor transition. It's way more blue in the photos than in real life though (leave it to Slaanesh to mess with color balanace). The black bits will be gold, brass or silver but I'm still thinking on the weapon pod looking bits that are white right now. Thoughts?

Would red gems work?
