How is it? I’ve heard it gives really good results, but that there is a bit of a learning curve.

If you're a bit computer savvy, it's nearly plug n play. Most of my misprints have been due to badly preparing the files. Correctly placing supports is kind of a science. The above Nightwing took me 3 attempts to get right.

It's quite fun though! It is a bit messy. Not much worse than stripping minis with acetone or working with an airbrush though.

The fighters are much too large for my taste, sadly. Was hoping they were more in line with the storm talons i already have :)

Lovely models though!

I would imagine the fighters to then be reasonably ok for Aeronautica Imperialis?

Those are looking great.

All my aircraft are scaled to the original Aeronautica Imperialis scale so forge worlds old epic aircraft scale.

Actual epic aircraft are way under scale to the rest of the miniatures.

Thanks a lot!
I'm not sure what's the next project. I just acquired the troublemaker games STL files, so I guess it will be a load of terrain!

I really enjoyed this army, as I themed it after the terrain I built. The death world table is pretty much done though so I need some new destination!

A truescale Eldar Phantom Titan! I'm especially proud of the base, inclusing some guardsman casualties i printed :)

Done for now. Tired of painting white ...

Botched a few of the details, it looks better in person though. It's always harsh to see my work in pictures, as the zoom shows all my mistakes. I do enjoy painting this rougher style though. Too impatient for the slow methodical and precise approach.

Also painted a few knights and a Warlord Titan recently. After i upped the scale with the phantom, the old metal warlord didn't hold up anymore. Pictures will follow.
