Has anyone converted the Epic 40k Land Speeders into Typhoons? What did you use for the missile pods?

I always thought about using spare Whirlwind turrets, chopping them in half and glueing them on - but I hate trying to glue things this small. |

I've thought about a it a few times but I haven't come to any decent conclusions. Thought about scratch building a rack across the back or removing the nose melta and putting a small missile pod there. Probably the best option would be to replace the wings with a small scratch built pod similar to the forgeworld javelin. |

The simplest way to add missile pods to anything at epic scale is to cut a couple of 4mm - 6mm long section of sprue frame and slap them wherever the missile pods are supposed to be . The sprue frames tend to have a trapezoidal cross section that roughly matches the shape of a missile pod. You can use evergreen or plastruct polystyrene tubing to add additional details, but that really isn’t necessary at this scale. |

That would probably work perfect if you replaced the wings on the side with it. |

That is nice. Found them Dave, if you want those. Feel that they may be tricky to mount well. Too small to pin, not big enough to get a good connection. |

I used havoc launchers from the petit crabs for my Lamenter E40k typhoons. They felt a little big for my taste. I would go with the E:A ones or bits from the tank above. |
