Was not to happy with the quality of the Eldar models on Thingverse so I decided to model from scratch my own Grav tank

Here are some of the progress and early prints then the pro job that was done by one of my friends in the epic community..

Following testing feed back from friend on the Space Elf Float Tank I have made the Lance on Turret slightly thicker increasing its strength.. new file is attached

The new thickness should also help increase successful prints..

Anyone printing the file will need to scale the mesh down and to correct epic scale also testers have only had luck on printing on resin printers not filament printers.

I have plenty of grav tanks already but would love to have files for a Vyper, no one else has ever made one.

Those look awesome.

My question to you is: do you intend for this to be a scale model or a gaming piece?

Further suggested refinements if it is supposed to be a gaming piece:
  • add a web between the twin linked guns
  • beef up the rear portions of the main laser to match the scale of the barrel
  • change the sensor mast array so that it isn't so fragile

The old version of the 40k fire prism had a bit that replaced the falcon sensor mast that may be better suited for 6mm scale. Consider using that as an inspiration instead.

Hyper detailed models are cool and all, but having all of the fragile guns and antennas broken off all of your grav tanks after only 1 year sucks.
