This is my current project. I have started with 3 Sisters formations, 4 PPF formations and 2 PDF formations. Note the Judge Dredd (original Blue/Green/Yellow) theme for the Arbites/Planetary Police Force. I especially like the way the old Imperial Guard Bikes that many use as Rough Riders came up. The Inquisitorial Storm troopers are painted Black/Dark Grey base with Green accessories and helmets. Their transports are painted Light Grey with various highlights. The Lightning Fighters are painted White/very light grey with red accents. The Sisters - Order of the Violet Shroud are painted Purple with Yellow accents . The Planetary Defence Force - Imperial Guard are painted a Reddish Brown with Blue helmets and shoulder pads, while their tanks are a brown/tan camouflage scheme. I am trying to get as much detail as possible without spending too much time making them over detailed. I have quite a few armies to get through, and this lot including the 4 formations I am currently working on makes about 5000 points of the 12,000 points for this list. Oh, the whole army - when I am finished will be magnetised for safer transport. |

I have not purchased magnetised bases yet, I just used rare earth magnets for the larger minis like the aircraft, and magnetic tape on the bases for the vehicles and infantry. I will probably look at getting magnetic bases for the vehicles later on. In the meantime, I finished 3 more formations today. Very nice work! Certainly some of the brightest/boldest of minis I have seen at 6mm and makes a nice change. Very brave work with the Fleur-de-lis as well, looks good! |

I was attempting a super light dry brush, but did not remove enough of the white paint. I liked the effect, but it was not what I had intended to do. The Chimera used in the PDF Armoured Fist Platoon was the effect I was attempting. |

I completed a formation of Repentia (minus their Repressor transports).
