I go my hands on some of the Eureka miniatures armoured dinosaur beasts that looked like they'd make a good proxy for the Orkeosaurus and crucially I could get 3 without selling a kidney. They've arrived and I couldn't resist a bit of work on them: Attachment: The glue is still drying so I've not got to the green stuff to fill out the necks but as I arranged them I'm thinking ahead to basing... I'd originally thought to use the boar boys as a sort of escort but they're a bit samey, would it look better with a mix of infantry boyz waving guns and marching alongside? |

You could do a mix of boar boys and infantry. Or convert the boar boys slightly, and have regular boys handing on with ropes, and being dragged along by it, or something similar. Its hard to make boar boys look different, but you also don't need to make many of them different for it to work. |

Do you have a Squiggoth you could do a side-by-side with? |

I can't see them on Eureka website, so they are still a mail order only thingy. How much are they each? I am just curious |

It was Nic I dealt with and it was hassle-free. The mini is called Ophidian armoured beast (400FAN056) and I think it's in the 10mm range but the scale works really well. |

The blog I read pointed out they were on the US website but not the UK one, I got in touch and they sent them over from Australia. They were AUS $ 13.50 each, plus shipping. Feels like good value compared to the alternative I'm aware of. Dave wrote: Do you have a Squiggoth you could do a side-by-side with? A couple of comparison shots, one with some Squiggoths and then a side by side with a dominatrix because they are a similar size (the dominatrix is quite a bit less chunky though).
