So as far as I know there is no official epic representation of the following sorts of miniatures. Either because they where never in the official epic rules or just never had a version released. So how would you proxy the following (or convert/paint job differently). Space Marines Veterans (in power armour) Sternguard Vanguard Scouts (with sniper rifles) Scout Bikers Thunderfire Cannon Imperial Guard Hardened Veterans Medics Support Sentinels (Armed with either a 'shoulder' mounted rocket pod or missile pod). Cyclops Demolition Vehicle Taurox/Taurox Prime Bane Wolf Devil Dog Wyvern Sabre Gun Platform Trojan Atlas Sentinel Powerlifter Orks Nobz (Regular non-Meganobz variety) Nob Warbikes Skarboyz 'Ard Boyz Burna Boyz Tankbustas Flashgitz Mega Dreads Gorkanaut Morkanaut Warkopta Grot Tank Mega Grot Tank Dakkajet Burna-bommer Blitza-bommer Wazbom Blastjet Kill Blasta Kill Bursta Kill Krusha Battlewagons (ok hear me out, the apoc battlewagons feel more like Ork Trukks to me, the older ones feel to small for the modern representation of battlewagons) Chaos Possessed Raptors Plague Marines Thousand Sons/Rubric Marines Obliterators Dreadnoughts Chaos Bikers Daemons Bloodcrushers (Bloodletters on Juggernauts) Nurglings Beasts of Nurgle (I know there where some old ones, but the old daemons always felt oversized) Fiends of Slaanesh (Ditto^) Seekers of Slaanesh (Daemonettes on Steeds of Slaanesh) Horrors Screamers Furies Chaos Spawn Eldar Shining Spears Storm Guardians? Wraithblades Shadow Spectres Hornets Lynx Wraithknight (Without resorting to the old epic eldar knights) Crimson Hunters Hemlocks Anyone have ideas for any of these? Or others in 40k not represented in epic? |

Some of those can be proxied using models sold by Vanguard if you use your imagination and explain what 'counts as' what to your opponent at the start. http://vanguardminiatures.co.uk Some cam be converted from other epic models - a hydra with cut down turret barrels could 'count as' a hydra maybe? If you're really creative you can even use non-miniatures sometimes - someone at a tournament yesterday used crystal door handles as 'counts as' Necron Monoliths. |

Space Marines Veterans - most chapters have a different helmet color designated for veterans Thunderfire Cannon - Onslaught Miniatures Grudd stuff Imperial Guard Support Sentinels - missile pods from these plus sentinel models Bane Wolf - honestly, I'd just use slightly different paint jobs to differentiate the Hellhound types Devil Dog - ^same Sentinel Powerlifter - could be converted using a sentinel model and part of a 40K Ad Mech taser goad Orks Nobz - Skinnerz Commando Specialists Burna Boyz - ^same Tankbustas - ^same Mega Dreads - Skinnerz Tramplers Gorkanaut - these are basically the Epic Stompas, so just add a few bits n bobs here n there Morkanaut - ^same Warkopta - Shapeways Grot Tank - Skinnerz Micro Tank Platoon or Microworld Games Wasteland Buggies Dakkajet - use any combo of planes+bits you want: Vanguard Skinnerz or Novan Regulars, Shapeways historical aircraft, Epic/Aeronautica Imperialis Ork or other aircraft, 40K Stormboyz jump packs, etc...
