Here is the link to the Painting and modelling dairy on wargamer.au. It is more comprehensive and the timeline of construction and painting is more evident. http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.p ... pic=184477 A photo of the completed army (so far). ![]() |

That's an awesome use of the DZC scurge for the barge. What's the base for that tormentor btw? |

Tormentor Titan is a Warmachine Cryx Warjack. I had to buy 3 similar kits and get a spare parts kits for the shadow field back mount. Normally the warjack has 1 ranged weapon and 1 close combat weapon. I re-positioned and pinned the ranged weapons on the shoulder guards and added a second close combat weapon. My second Tormentor (unpainted) has a ranged weapon made of parts from a few GW Chaos, Dark Eldar and Guard kits. My favourite kit bash, the Execution Landing Barge is made from a Dropzone commander UCM Phoenix command gunship with a lot of current and very early 40K Dark Eldar parts. Sails, Reaver Jetbike cowlings, weapon barrels, snare chains. Using some of the Warmachine spare parts, I made the Wraithgate. The Venoms are also one of my favourite conversions. I used DZC Scourge Reaver AA tanks. The bases I an using for Eldar Wave Serpents in my Sian-Hann Army (next army to start painting) turning the turrets around. The actual blade looking weapons, I have used for the base of the Venoms. I added plastic Eldar grav platforms to the top of this and then glued on shaped plasti-card to make the wings. I was thinking of using putty to make the wings mold into the body of the weapons platform better, but decided not to. I also added shaped plasti-card to make the protective walls for the gunner position. |

I think the DZC Seraphim Retaliator (Bomber) would be a decent model for the Void Raven Bomber. Especially if you wanted to be able to run the EPICUK list as well and swap and change between lists. See link http://www.hawkwargames.com/collections ... r-vehicles It could be used as is,. Otherwise very little conversion would be needed. There are other aircraft there that would be good for Dark Eldar Epic. The Seraphim Strike Fighter and the Archangel Interceptors. |

It is a 750 point model. basically the same cost a a Reaver Titan with weapons (which are additional cost). The Executioner can carry 8 armoured vehicles, light vehicles, or War Engines (based on their DC value) and 16 infantry. That includes bikes, jump infantry, etc. It also has self planetfall so I do not need to purchase a Spaceship, and once it lands it stays on the table as a support craft. It can be seen by everyone (like a skimmer on permanent pop-up, but it has 4 shadowfilelds, 6 DC. With a decent amount of ranged weaponry including AA out to 60cm, and one of the few units I get that has an artillery type attack, it should be a prime target. It will most likely be the Break their Spirit objective in any game it is involved in. Unfortunately you do not need to use AA weapons to shoot at it after the turn it arrives. |
