Good job, man!

What happened to all those wooden bases you got?

Thanks guys!

After some debate, I decided to use the plastic bases for these guys, since I have my Suturvora force for Epic. A bunch did get set up with adhesive magnets so I can hook my Suturvora engines down onto them though.

Still holding off on painting any of my Knights because I still can’t decide whether I want them based for Epic though - so I might just go through this league at my FLGS running on pure Titan firepower. It’s doable... you just need to volcano cannon the opponent’s Knights early & often ;)

Latest project - turning this into a two-handed alternate weapon option for my in progress Banelord build:

Because why *shouldn’t* a Khorne-sworn Warlord Titan be walking around with a massive axe gripped in its titanic power fists? >:)

So um, House Malinax has been happening, which gets me up to 1500 points of Adeptus Titanicus.

Decals to follow tonight if I’m up for it, otherwise I ought to have at least one conference call at work tomorrow that I can swear through while muted (hopefully)...

Lookin' good!

I'm curious about how the transfers work out.

Putzing around with them this morning.

So far they’re still shinier than I want (a couple more thin hits with micro sol needed?), but surprisingly enough, tiny stuff like this is pretty easy to maneuver into position. House Malinax has its scorpions, squadron markings, and the Xana II Forgeworld badge over their left breast. White on red for the banner scions might be too much contrast - may remove & swap that out for black Eyes of Terra/Horus.

Those look great. What was the process for the tan, black metal and bases?

Malinax Armor:

Base Layer: Zandri Dust
Layer: Baneblade Brown
Pin Wash: Nuln Oil (armor nooks & crannies)
Edge Highlight: Flayed One Flesh

It’s a little darker than the Forgeworld scheme, but I like the “Soviet conscript uniform” feel it gives them (appropriate, too)

Malinax Armor Trim:

Base Layer: Corvus Black (it’s my new favorite dark grey!)
Pin Wash: Nuln Oil (same)
Edge Highlight: Dawnstone

Yup, that simple. I’ve seen everything from deep black trim to bright grey or even gunmetal for House Malinax, but imo this got me about as close to Forgeworld’s color as I can get without crazy paint mixing shenanigans.

Bases:

Base Layer: Steel Legion Drab
Wash: Casandora Yellow
Drybrush: Tyrant Skull (heavily applied)

Used the same for both Legio Tempestus and House Malinax. This way it’s a much more yellow brown for the soil, and Knights are still visually distinct from their bases ;)

Also, finally figured out the left knee heraldry on my Reaver. Debating adding more decals to these guys... but (a) not really sure where I want to put anything, and (b) not sure it’s necessary with the shard camo and checkers.

And then there were two...

That brings me up to 2 Reavers, 3 Warhounds, 4 Cerastus Lancers, and 2 Acastus Porphyrion. Next on deck are a few more Reaver weapons, 1 Warlord, and 6 Questoris Knights.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single Titan Maniple in possession of good maintenance and repair, must be in want of an opponent.

Dwarf Supreme, gunslinger007, captPiett, I’m looking at you...

They're coming down the pipe haha. Looking great though! What's the fine grain you used for basing there?

Basing sand is a 4:1 blend of War World Scenics’ fine grain and coarse grain sand. Closest I could come to reproducing the ancient pot of GW’s basing sand I’d been using for my Iron Warriors & Legio Suturvora.

Found them on eBay first, then found their online store.

Lyrans huh? Should I be expecting a Steiner Scout Lance immanently?
What, don't want to play against orange Eldar?
Oh no; these guys are purely meant for Adeptus Titanicus, and I’m calling out the other guys with piles of grey plastic titans ;)

If we’re throwing down you’re getting Suturvora, and I’m taking all the long-ranged Macro & Titan Killer I can fit into the list. Your pointy-eared gemstone-fondlers can try dodging 3x volcano cannons and a plasma destructor on overwatch!
