Hi all, I am using Flames of War bases for my Epic Space Marines, but there is no suitable base sized small enough for a single dreadnought. Any suggestions for small bases that are similar that I could use to somewhat match the Flames of War bases? Thanks! |

They made a single fig base (1/2 a small), it was metal. You can also cut a small to reduce its size. I did that for plastic Contemptors. |

Thanks for the response Dave. Do you happen to have any pics of your Contemptors? My main issue is trying to match the sloped edge of the FoW bases. |

Thanks Dave. That's a small Flames of War base cut in half? |

Yep, I kept the same pattern. 2x2.5, 1.25x2, 1x1.25, .625x1. |

I just turned the FoW small base sideways and called it good for both dreadnoughts and sentinels. |

Looking at the pic I think he's cut the middle out. And put the two short ends together to make the long sides of the new base. [=] Becomes [] This way there are no new bevels needed to be cut. ( I also like the way he's repositions the claws on those dreads) |

Wow Kapitan, Thats one of those forest for the trees kind of thing. I didn't even notice. Definitely looks like the middle section is cut and the two ends are glued. Dave was even kind enough to post the sizes. |

I use the 20mm old Space Marine era square bases for my Eldar and Space Marine dreads. If I get larger dreads or proxies they may go on 25mm round as I like the look of them. |
