| I prefer the manga/anime look of the Onslaught minis, so I want to use a bit more color on them (like the strong light blue on the Flamers, etc). This means, I need a "boring" basing scheme (a gray one, like this), but I'm not satisfied with a base this simple.. And also some 10/15mm Medieval decals are still missing (for the banner, etc). I plan to use the Compedium's list, but first, I'm just painting, for my own pleasure, maybe later, I will try them on the battlefield also I have most of the infantry units (all of them Onslaught Miniatures) - the IG units will be Mordian Iron Guards (I'm still waiting for those Baccus early WW1 British Pals to arrive.. ), and the Chappel will be a modified Dystopian Wars french landship (hey, they already have the french lily sculpted on them ) I only have difficulties with the Dominion, Flagellant, Penitent Engines -units, since there's no real proxy for them.. The same goes for the specialized SoB vehicles also - there's an alternative, but not a cheap one.. So this is where I stand now.

| I'd leave it as is - don't want to muddle up the space. Maybe a simple horizontal line across the bottom or some other simple decoration. | |

| I would have placed the rose slightly lower on the banner. That would help the standard seem 'fuller', I think. If it stays where it is then add a hint of white or gold, either edged along the bottom points or as Deacon says, as a simple horizontal line. | |

| Thanks! At the moment, it will stay like this -since then I started some tests on my next to units: Cult of the Red Redemption -I like "horde" style armies, and a large number of fanatics are welcomed (my army will have a new, crusade feeling -and since my Blood Angels are almost ready, I'm missing to paint red ) The next unit is Sisters Repentia -my wife really supported my hobby, till she saw that i spent a lot of time to paint proper nipples /narrow white panties on space nuns.. Really, what you think of naked miniatures? should they wear more clothes? is the white is too boring? Ah, lot of questions..

| I really do like that that model and no, white is NOT boring. In my own collection I've intended to paint them not neekid but in a bodyglove /catsuit personally but that's just me. | |
