Hi,
I've started an Eldar army.

I decided to paint them as Ulthwe, because there are mostly black - not much to paint - famous last words.

Anyway, I painted a lot of tanks, I would not like to start again (so I might lessen the dirty look), so I want my infantry to fit them in appearance.

There is not much choice in the main colours, but the wash shifts the overall impression to the cooler or warmer side.

So I'm not sure which way to go. The warmer one fits the tanks, the cooler one has it's own appeal.
The infantry are only samples the final bases have different sides.

Any thoughts ?

When I had painted Ulthwe I definitely erred towards cool/blues as a drybrush element.

BTW are those the onslaught Eldar figures? They work really well painted like that!

Thanks, for the comments,
so I paint up a "cool" unit hoping that I really like it.
Will post an image tomorrow (in fact today).

The miniatures are my own, I will introduce them in the other thread, once the army is finished.

It's ok, but the yellow doesn't work at all - at least not without extra effort.

The unit in all it's glory.

The ides of the terrain is that the stands can be arranged to form a "scene"

Well, Ulthwé sits next to the Eye of Terror, waiting to get eaten by it, so they should be grim, so they need the cooler colors :)

I also based my army on snow, so you can feel the cold out there..

Great miniatures, as ever! I wonder, what can I do ,if I only get 1% of your talent/determination/time :D

Are the bases made from plasticard? They make a really nice "diorama" together. =)
