thanks you for the kind words all, i'm very fond of those vindi figures (awesome figs plus first go at free hand symbols).

They were a bit under whelming in the game for me yesterday (pics of that to follow) but i think that was my fault not thiers................the oops wrong activation order/position/taget learning curve of epic is rather steep!

without any more self justification; pics!

"They were a bit under whelming in the game for me yesterday (pics of that to follow) but i think that was my fault not theirs................the oops wrong activation order/position/taget learning curve of epic is rather steep!"

To be fair Jim - It was the second turn, and EVERY activation was the most vital... the vindi's just weren't as 'vital' as the rest. IF and allies got the win in the end, and traitor scum got punched, so they were a noble sacrifice for the greater good.

absolutely true! atcho here is the proud owner of a fantastic admec skitarii army who was one of my allies in the 6000pts fight we had yesterday.......i just have to get him to post up his work but you will see some when i do my battle pics. Sadly our other ally was 1st legion and true to that legions form it sat on the fence to see which way the wind was blowing!

Fantastic fists sir, it must have taken an age to paint on all those shoulder symbols.

out of curiosity were you using the isstvan heresy lists or the netEA ones? I'd be very keen for any feedback on the latter :)

the girders actually are girders, plasticard reproductions from the railway section of the hobby shop, they come in about 4 sizes
