A wee gloat as it's something I've wanted since I got back into epic. I've managed to put together a formation of warp spiders.

Tim, yes I'm in the UK, I live down Bristol way. As for seeing it on the table I've no idea when that might be, I've not actually played the game for the best part of 20 years, but it has become really popular down my local club (Bristol Vanguard) so I wanted to get a force painted up so I can play. But that said due to real life (TM) I tend to struggle to get many games in (2 small kids will do that!).

But hope to get playing the game and then once I am I'm bound to end up at tournaments at some point. Until then I'll just keep painting stuff up. I think I've decided I might as well have 8 bases of each of the aspects done to give me the options! I've got most of the models so that will be what I'll be churning my way through to begin with I reckon.

Whoops, so it's been a while since I last worked on any epic stuff but worry not the urge is coming back round again and today I've knocked out a couple of little titans to go with my army.



They're currently on 40mm rounds for painting which feels about right but I could go up to 50s and not feel lost. Before I base them I I thought I'd best check what size people use for this size of titan?

AFAIK there are no hard and fast rules for basing titans, although others may be able to correct me there. What you've based those on looks spot on. 40mm and 50mm rounds is pretty common in these parts.

If you fancy it we could meet up for a game? I'm based over towards Bath but try and get over to the Duke whenever Stu puts on one of his Epic evenings...

So after another long break I've pulled out an epic model again. This time it's the all mighty.... Space marines, specifically in the form of a land raider.

I got my hands on some scale 75 paints and was trying them out when spotted a blue was very ultramarine-y so figured I'd knock out a quick model.



and I also then decided to play about with weathering.


Not sure on the weathering but needs to go on a base for me to decide.
