There will be variation through the shoulders, as it's the most visible area. One guy has a chequered swatch (front left) and this will continue through the clan.

I think once I have a force coming together I will add flags too. I think flags are a real key part of 2nd ed and it will be nice to bring that back.

The goffs are from space marine, the deathskullz are technically from e40k but also found on the space marine and e:a spruces, just to be confusing, so basically spanning every generation of epic.

Hoping to get more to show you guys this weekend, I've certainly been building a lot, but unpainted minis are no fun to look at.

Depends how badly commission goes, plus if I manage to make it to the club to play epic...

Stupid comissions holding me back, but hopefully more soon.

If nothing else I've been doing a lot of reading of net epic and scrawling done army lists. While my knowledge of epic stems back to second ed from a minis/fluff pov I never got to play that era, so it's been fun matching up all those battle reps to game mechanics (so that's how snap fire works )

So, nothing fun to show yet, but there is plenty to come as soon as I clear my desk.

Goff Nob stand for the clan card. This is a more Space Marine era style, with a mix of orks/grots/nobs to add variety and stretch out the nob models.

Paint got a little thick on the banner, but hey ho, at tabletop you won't see it (I hope).

I really need two more single nobs, so if anyone has any spare (I know they are a little rarer) please let me know, as I've only got seven stands and need the eight for the clan.

I'm going to actually try to get the whole clan painted, as fun as it is jumping about between various models, so that I have some formations to show, rather than odds and ends. Hopefully I can get some serious progress on the Goff card as a start, and I've got some Gutrippers and Gobsmashas in the power spray at the moment to add support formations.

Then I guess it will be back to the Kult of Speed...
